Boomer is another of Socko's cousins. Although Boomer's profession was not explicitly mentioned, it can be assumed that he deals with explosives in his job, as all other members of Socko's family have names that are puns of their careers. Like several other members of Socko's family, Boomer was never seen on screen.
When, in the episode iQ, Spencer is unable to open a safe he found at the junkyard using a chainsaw or blowtorch, Socko gets Spencer a special C-4 explosive charge from Boomer. Using the charge, Spencer is finally able to blast open his safe, though the only thing it contained was a smaller safe.
